A FAMILY TRADITION

It was 1947 when pioneering entrepreneur Antonio Busatti started importing rare pearls from Japan. Antonio also happened to be an aesthete. A man of exquisite taste, he was an avid collector of art and antiques.

In 1970 Antonio was joined by the second Busatti generation. Then came a time of long voyages to India, Japan, Thailand and Africa to seek out the rarest stones. Alongside pearls came diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and rubies, sourced from all over the world.

The year 2000 heralded a new era for the family as the third generation joined the House. Under Lalla Busatti’s creative direction, The House began making one of a kind creations of high jewellery for a discerning international clientele.

Busatti Milano’s family history is encapsulated in each piece, blending artistic innovation and exquisite craftsmanship with the splendour of the most precious stones, for quintessentially Italian high jewellery.

Milano

This is the place where The House was born, at the same time as the twentieth century’s most significant arts, architecture and design movements were emerging; the place where a new femininity was asserting itself through fashion.

Tradition, innovation, design, and understated elegance. Through its creations, The House pays tribute to the city that played such a fundamental role, not just for the family but for defining its spirit and style.

ARCHITECTURE

Back in the 40s Milan was such a futuristic city that it seemed ready to interact in harmony with the Milan of a century later. With its colors, lines and architectural balance, the city today has lost none of its power to captivate and it serves as a continue inspiration for The House.

VOYAGE

After Antonio Busatti’s early journeys to Japan, he later discovered places like Rajasthan and Thailand on his mission to find unexplored sources and outstanding stones. That same thirst for long voyages and cultural research has been passed down the three Busatti generations.
For The House, the travel theme merges reality with mystery, remarkable and magical encounters. The House celebrates art and cultural curiosity through unique pieces such as its ‘Secret Boxes’; these captivate and astound collectors from all over the world seeking exceptional, one of a kind creations.

THE AVANT-GARDE

For The House, innovation means constant research and experimentation. It does both with flair, combining traditional savoir-faire with avant-garde artistry, drawing on innovative techniques and unexpected materials. Lalla Busatti feels that innovation springs from creativity and the quest to find alchemies between non_traditional materials. When forged together, they create an inimitable dialogue between substance, precious stones and style.
